White Lies Tickets

White Lies have revealed a run of UK shows in early 2026, including a date at London’s prestigious Roundhouse. To mark the occasion, the band have also released a brand new track, ‘Nothing On Me’, their first new music since the release of their 2022 album, As I Try Not To Fall Apart.

In terms of changing direction, White Lies was more a Cruyff turn than a jink to the left. The West London trio – formed by Harry McVeigh (vocals, guitar), Charles Cave (bass) and Jack Lawrence-Brown (drums/keys) – started life as a neo-Britpop outfit under the name Fear Of Flying. After just a couple of singles, they ripped everything up and started again as pitch-black, synth-driven new wavers White Lies.

The change was as successful as it was dramatic, the band’s very own “Sandy in a leather jacket” moment. The pulsating, dark synths of early single Death served as a concise introduction to their new direction, appropriately featuring in the acclaimed vampire drama A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night.

White Lies’ debut album, To Lose My Life…, hit No.1 in the UK on its release in 2009. A huge world tour ensued, which drew legions of fans but made working on a follow-up difficult. White Lies finally came off the road, cleared their heads and banished any “difficult second album” fears with Ritual, helped along by single Bigger Than Us.

The band took time away from touring and recording but returned in 2013 with Big TV, followed three years later by Friends, recorded at Bryan Ferry’s studio in Kensington. Their fifth album, Five, arrived in 2019, and sixth studio album As I Try Not To Fall Apart came in 2022. The trio teased a further full-length release in 2025 with brand new single 'Nothing On Me' ahead of their 2026 UK tour.
