RIP (LITE) in Thunder Valley is the newest addition to RIP, offering you the opportunity to camp in a secluded area of RIP with access to the RIP Village and all accompanying entertainment. Your car will be parked a short distance from your tent in Metal Car Park 2.

Each RIP (LITE) ticket includes a weekend festival ticket

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+. Every person in your party must have a valid RIP ticket to stay in the RIP campsites, including children. Accompanied Under 5s are allowed free of charge.

RIP (LITE) will not have marked pitches but to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable experience, there is a maximum area 22msq per person allowed

No Campervans, Caravans, trailer tents or tent boxes will be permitted in RIP (LITE).

Strictly no gas canisters or petrol fuelled cookers will be allowed anywhere on site. Please see the Download website for a list of alternatives and to check on other prohibited items / substances before you pack.

Please raise BBQs and camping stoves at least 30cm off the ground to avoid burning the site. Bricks are available for you to use, please ask the RIP reception. Open campfires are strictly prohibited. A full Information pack will be sent to you by email within 1 week of the event.
