The Thirty, Rough and Dirty 2024 UK tour
Happy hardcore phenomenon Scooter is one of Germany's most successful recording artists ever, earning 23 Top 10 hits and over 80 Gold and Platinum certifications.
Formed in 1993 by H.P Baxter, Rick J. Jordan and Ferris Beuller, Scooter got their break in 1994 with their single 'Hyper Hyper', which flew off the shelves in Germany and across Europe.
Successive singles 'Move Your Ass' and 'Friends' followed suit, charting highly on the continent, while in 1996 they had their UK breakthrough with 'Back in the UK'.
From their debut album ...and The Beat Goes On! to later records including Wicked! (1996), Sheffield (2000), Scooter Forever (2017) and the forthcoming Open Your Mind and Your Trousers, Baxter and co. have continued to push the euphoria of dance music to its extremes that has incorporated the changing tides of the genre while always keeping their own instantly recognisable edge.
In April 2024, Scooter announced news of their 30th-anniversary tour – Thirty, Rough and Dirty – coming to venues including London’s OVO Arena Wembley.
The anniversary tour news follows from the band’s latest milestone which is the release of their 21st studio album – Open Your Mind and Your Trousers. Boasting over 30 million albums sold globally and more than 100 Gold and Platinum certifications, Scooter’s latest offering is a testament to their enduring musical prowess. The album, featuring 15 tracks in their signature style, includes previously released singles such as ‘Techno is Back’, ‘Rave & Shout’, ‘Waste Your Youth’ and ‘For Those About To Rave’.
Love ir every single minute would definitely go again
Scooter was fantastic never seen him live before he was brilliant Margate dreamland was brilliant too plenty of indoor toilets and bars /food vans , venue isn't massive so it's just a nice size I think to see stage where ever you stand . Would definitely see other gigs there !! Parking is just as the side of it and what we liked is there are plenty of security too
Av always been a massive Scooter fan always every party me with the scooter tunes my neighbours love me 😂 Got tickets for my 40th birthday in Newcastle arena November 2024 and I swear on my life am still star struck met them and squeezed Mr Baxter to death 🤭was worth it Framed my t-shirt and merchandise Love you ❤️ God Save the Rave 🎶
Nothing can top a Scooter gig i don't think? Third time in, Newcastle was a fab venue, great acoustics. Manchester Victoria warehouse was a good vibe. More clubby, and smaller. Notice a good area for disabled to view from there too. It was a good spot for wheelchairs, etc. Budapest Park rocked. It's an outdoor night club, basically. So all set up for a great gig there, and clubbing afterwards.
Absolutely filled the arena with the best tunes and atmosphere from start to finish, including the warm up act. Seats were rather close together but the row in front stood up so we had no choice but to stand also as couldn't see stage and it was far better for it. Top night, didn't disappoint, was amaaazing
what a fantastic night, no trouble, support act played good music.
